Here's the new chapter of Onepunch-... No, sorry, this time, it's not Onepunchman. The new chapter of OPM won't be out until next week. If you look at the subtitle of this blog, you'll see that I actually started this blog to post translations of manga you probably never even heard of. Even with OPM having gained worldwide fame by now, I still plan on continuing translating minor manga (OPM was an exception, I just couldn't believe why no one was translating something so famous and awesome). So yeah, here's a very minor one again. It's Molester Man (Chikan Otoko in Japanese), another doujin by YOKO. You could say, it's the smaller brother of Train Man (Densha Otoko) as it's another 2ch story that involves a loser 2ch inhabitant getting involved in an incident and asking 2ch for advice on how to handle it. Sorry for the delay, everyone. I can release Onepunchman chapters every two days if I feel like it, but manga like Koganeiro take a lot longer to translate. So anyways, here's the third and last chapter of Koganeiro. It was a short, but fun ride and I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed translating it. It was interesting to see how much YOKO's art changed since he did OMK and Tsunbaka. Okay, chapter 2 didn't take as long as I expected. I somehow managed to finish it before the new semester, so here it is. Translating Koganeiro makes me feel depressed as I feel like I should have read a manga like this or something similar when I was a high schooler myself. I didn't think about what would be best for my future as hard as Kinata does in this manga. Now I'm about to finish studying a subject at a university that I'm good at but never loved and I'm certain I'll spend my whole life working a job I don't love. Wow. It's been a long time since my last post, but I guess that's to be expected since this blog is only for posting my translations and I'm pretty busy these days. I've translated the first chapter of a three-chapter-manga called "Koganeiro" and well, it's by YOKO again. I've made it my life's work to translate all his stuff, so expect to get more of him after "Koganeiro". "Koganeiro" is about a group of high schoolers in their second year who are confronted with the possibly lifer-altering decision of what to do after high school. I found chapter 1 very interesting and I hope it will keep up. I'm translating as I'm reading the manga for the first time, so I don't know what will happen. As promised in my first post, here's a manga by Yokota Takuma, the guy responsible for the art of Onani Master Kurosawa which I hope you've already read or at least heard of. It's called TsunBaka and is based on a 2ch (read 2channel and not 2chan) story. It's about the adventures of Tsun and Boon and... Meh, just read it for yourself. Okay, let's see. This is a blog solely created for the purpose of posting my scanlations of manga. But it'll only be manga I happen to come across and that haven't been translated into English yet. I don't care about any credits and the like in the internet, so you're free to do with my scanlations whatever you like. I don't use any watermarks and credit pages. The name "Boon Scanlations" only exists because every blog has to have a name. I think I'll be busy for a while scanlating manga drawn by Yokota Takuma, also known as YOKO, who's responsible for the art of Onani Master Kurosawa amongst others. Note that he does not write the story of his manga, he takes stories he likes and makes manga out of them. tl;dr Enjoy reading the scanlations.
