Ketchup Ninja 15

Chapter 15 of Ketchup Ninja kicks the political incorrectness up a notch. If you haven't felt offended yet, it's about time to, but then again, why should you? It's all in good fun and pretty balaanced too. Enjoy.

Here's an overview of all episodes on niconico:

Note that starting with episode 4, the videos aren't free of charge anymore. I can still get you the sound files and times though, if someone wants to make flash videos out of them.

  4. Takemi seems to have mastered the self-own technique.

  5. The introduction of these new bigoted, self-centered antagonists is quite elegant. By crashing into a party where Americans play a Japanese video game on a huge screen, they are literally standing in front of evidence of cultural exchange, not domination, but they literally can't see it.

The author may be an amateur, but this shows a clever touch.

  6. Thank you for the chapter, it was a good one. The only thing is would it be better if it was translated as "your minds are as narrow as your small and flat breasts, that is the problem"? It sounds more natural, to me at least, although I'm not sure if it was intended to be the way you did it or if that deviates to much from the original. Well it's just a small point that doesn't matter much, still thanks and for your other projects too

    1. Hmm... Yeah, that is pretty much how I had worded it before I flipped to the next page and saw that Shinoko's had to be a haiku. Now, haiku in English aren't as strict with the 5-7-5 syllable count, but if I don't stick to it, people won't really notice it's a haiku. I thought it reads like a haiku now, but I guess, it just ended up sounding strange, huh? I'm definitely not a great haiku poet.

  8. I came here from batoto(one of the few sites that says which give proper credits to scanlators), but this is my first time posting here.

Boon, you really pick up great stuff to work with. I love your work with OPM and Makai no Ossan. Also i want to thank you for translating Ketchup Ninja, its pretty good too.

Since im not american, i cant be offended at all; even i find REALLY funny prejudices from both sides.

Cheers, and thank you for all your hard work.

    1. Yes, batoto is great. It's probably the only site that updates the uploaded chapters if I upload a second modified version. It also helps that it's often uploaders who actually care about the manga they upload. Or I was just lucky so far. Thanks for your comment.

    1. Thanks, but I dunno, man, I stumble upon a fun manga, check if it's translated and find out it's not even registered @ mangaupdates, so I feel like I have to translate it right now. Thus, all I can guarantee when I pick a new series is that you probably never even heard of it.
