Still no sign of OPM. Which means, more Molester Man! Btw, it'd be pretty cool if I could finish the 21st and last chapter of Molester Man end of this year as the story ends on New Year's day too. The timing would be perfect.

    After reading this I discovered there was japanese movie adaptation. :) People who are interested can find it here: http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XODQ4NDMyNjg=.html

    No english subtitles though, and the male lead actor is... pretty bad. It feels like they picked someone very otaku-ish on purpose, but he speaks very softly and like mumbles and stutters half the time, which was really annoying.

    Kansai is played by Nagasawa Nao though, which is awesome. :)

    I really think you should try to finish it by the end of the year. Think about it. How often will you have a chance to have the events of the manga sync up so well? This would be a great experience for both the readers and yourself, imagine reading the final chapter on New Years, you'd be able to completely take in the atmosphere.

    In other words, Translatorfag please please please do it.

    Before the end of the year is pretty unlikely. I looked at the raws on ehentai, and the whole thing is over 700 pages! Plus given how text heavy this manga is... I don't think they can finish it before 2013 without working themselves to death.

    Time seems to fly when I read this series. Though I think it's realistic, that thought is coming from a 'socially sheltered' person. The MC is interesting; he reminds of Holden Coldfield though not in character but in depth and delivery.

    Anyone thinking of doing a character study? I feel these characters are realistic/ambiguous enough to merit some interesting interpretations. I would but I'm bad at it. Reading manga's such as these makes me appreciate forced monologues, back stories and so on as it makes characters easy to understand.

Hey guys, great title for a manga, eh? This one is a Dragon Quest V doujinshi that was originally posted on Pixiv by Nikiichi Tobita (MONSTER X MONSTER), when he was still an amateur artist. In fact, you'll notice a few similarities to MONSTER X MONSTER. You could say, this manga = MONSTER X MONSTER - DQ V. It's a more or less free adaptation of the "How I stalked some dude with an exposed nipple and stumbled upon the Zenithian Swordwwww" thread that was started on 2ch by an anonymous poster with the ID YDmPhSO2. So yeah, he's the author, I suppose. If the title is too long for you, the Japanese also refer to it as Bonfire NEET (焚き火ニート). Note: You should really play Dragon Quest V before you read this one (doesn't matter if it's the original SNES, or one of its remakes on DS and PS2). Molester Man Original Threads

This is probably my first post that's not about a new manga chapter I translated. Sorry for getting your hopes up. I just wanted to announce that I started working on the original Molester Man 2ch threads. You can see the translated bits when you click on the "Molester Man 2ch threads" button on the top of my blog. As I hinted at in my last post, I'll be translating it post by post. What I meant is that I'll have the online page with my translations synchronized with the files on my computer. It's supposed to feel like an actual thread. New posts come in one by one as I'm translating it. That way, I don't have to wait until I've translated a whole thread or a whole batch of posts which makes things a lot more comfortable for me. Even if I'm extremely busy, I'll still find the time to translate a post or two. So check in every once in a while and see if there are any new posts in the threads. Have fun! Molester Man 21

If you were in the thread in /a/, you probably know already, but chapter 21 is done. I saw comments about how I chose the wrong time for chapter 21, but to my defense, I wasn't finished with the chapter until 19:30 CST. That's why I'm very glad that I chose that time zone. Anyways, enjoy the final chapter of Molester Man. The last extra chapter will follow in the near future. I have to catch up on a lot of things I had put on hold until MM was finished.
