This is the final chapter of Ketchup Ninja. As I never read ahead and read along as I translate every chapter, I only translate manga I'd have read myself anyway if it had been already translated. If I didn't like it, I wouldn't be able to get myself to translate the next chapter. That's one of the reasons why I often write things like "I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I did translating it.". Another reason is that some manga are fun to translate, while some are rather tiring and exhausting. Ketchup Ninja and OPM definitely belong to the former. Sorry, chapter 17 took a little longer. It's a little harder to keep up the usual pace on workdays. Surprise, surprise, it's another chapter of Ketchup Ninja. This chapter doesn't have much dialog as it's mostly the continuation of Shinoko & Debbie's fight vs. the new ninja girls. Half the lines are in Japanese and if they aren't, they're still meant to be in English half the time, so there's almost no localization needed, I wish every manga was like this. Hey, people, here's a new manga I stumbled upon a few days ago and really liked. It's called "Ketchup Ninja" and was created by an amateur artist in the manga section of niconico. It's about the Japanese ninja girl Shinoko and her efforts to settle in her new high school life in America. I warn you though, this manga is chock full of prejudices and jokes about both America and Japan, so please do not take it too seriously. Also note that since this manga was released as a flash movie on niconico, there are pages where the panels appear one after another and stuff which I didn't change, so it might take some time to get used to it. You'll see what I mean. It's a fun manga and I hope you'll have as much fun reading it as I had. If I had a lot more time and if I was better at video editing, I would have tried to release this manga in the same way as on niconico, i.e. as a flash animation.
