Boon Scanlations

Okay, let's see. This is a blog solely created for the purpose of posting my scanlations of manga. But it'll only be manga I happen to come across and that haven't been translated into English yet.

I don't care about any credits and the like in the internet, so you're free to do with my scanlations whatever you like. I don't use any watermarks and credit pages. The name "Boon Scanlations" only exists because every blog has to have a name.

I think I'll be busy for a while scanlating manga drawn by Yokota Takuma, also known as YOKO, who's responsible for the art of Onani Master Kurosawa amongst others. Note that he does not write the story of his manga, he takes stories he likes and makes manga out of them.


tl;dr Enjoy reading the scanlations.

    I think you are doing a really good job with OnePunch-Man, and I want to thank you because without you I would never be able to read it.
    Would you mind if I used your scans and translate it in italian? I want as many people as possibile to be able to read this!
    Even if you say you don't care about credits, I want to be honest and say where the scans come from!

    Curious to know who wrote OMK if YOKO only illustrated it. I really want to know the real author's name. I'll check this post daily to wait your reply. Thanks!

    I am from Vitamin translation group, a Vietnamese manga translation group, and we're starting to translate Kuro from your scan/translation. Just writing to say thank you for your awesome work, and the heart to share it publicly without needing any credits. Hey guys, great title for a manga, eh? This one is a Dragon Quest V doujinshi that was originally posted on Pixiv by Nikiichi Tobita (MONSTER X MONSTER), when he was still an amateur artist. In fact, you'll notice a few similarities to MONSTER X MONSTER. You could say, this manga = MONSTER X MONSTER - DQ V. It's a more or less free adaptation of the "How I stalked some dude with an exposed nipple and stumbled upon the Zenithian Swordwwww" thread that was started on 2ch by an anonymous poster with the ID YDmPhSO2. So yeah, he's the author, I suppose. If the title is too long for you, the Japanese also refer to it as Bonfire NEET (焚き火ニート). Note: You should really play Dragon Quest V before you read this one (doesn't matter if it's the original SNES, or one of its remakes on DS and PS2). Molester Man Original Threads

This is probably my first post that's not about a new manga chapter I translated. Sorry for getting your hopes up. I just wanted to announce that I started working on the original Molester Man 2ch threads. You can see the translated bits when you click on the "Molester Man 2ch threads" button on the top of my blog. As I hinted at in my last post, I'll be translating it post by post. What I meant is that I'll have the online page with my translations synchronized with the files on my computer. It's supposed to feel like an actual thread. New posts come in one by one as I'm translating it. That way, I don't have to wait until I've translated a whole thread or a whole batch of posts which makes things a lot more comfortable for me. Even if I'm extremely busy, I'll still find the time to translate a post or two. So check in every once in a while and see if there are any new posts in the threads. Have fun! Molester Man 21

If you were in the thread in /a/, you probably know already, but chapter 21 is done. I saw comments about how I chose the wrong time for chapter 21, but to my defense, I wasn't finished with the chapter until 19:30 CST. That's why I'm very glad that I chose that time zone. Anyways, enjoy the final chapter of Molester Man. The last extra chapter will follow in the near future. I have to catch up on a lot of things I had put on hold until MM was finished.
